Most museums say that they allow non-flash photography but when it comes to photoshoots, they are not so tolerant. Grand Central is probably your best bet. Or you could just go to your favorite cafes/stores in NYC and dash between them with a lovely umbrella.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cool indoor engagement photo locations? I'm supposed to take engagement photos this sunday and it looks like it might rain. Some potential indoor venues include grand central station, the metropolitan museum of art, the winter garden at world financial center, museum of natural history. any other ideas?
