Both our ceremony and reception are outdoors, but we will have a tent if the weather is nasty.  In our area, it’s still pretty warm in September so the temperature should be ok – not sweltering hot but not freezing cold either.

Our ceremony will be outdoors.  The reception is on the same property in the lodge.  If the weather decides to not cooperate we will have the ceremony in the lodge before and then somehow set up for the reception quickly after.

Hopefully the weather will be good, but you just never know.

We can’t have our ceremony outside, as it’s not possible in the UK, and in any case we’re having the whole day indoors. Our venue has a lovely balcony and grounds that we are really hoping we get to use for photographs and our drinks reception though! September in the UK can be a bit changeable but as long as it’s not raining it should be mild enough to pop outdoors!

Indoors. It’s still too dang hot in Texas for an outdoor wedding. I wouldn’t mind doing just the ceremony outdoors and reception insite, but we’re having a Catholic wedding so it’s not an option.

@cmoest:  With the weather where I live you cannot trust it. One day can be 78 sunny and not a cloud in the sky, the next day can be rainy and 50 degrees .. Everythin gis indoors for us, except pictures (hopefully) Innocent

I didnt want to have guests having to travel from ceremony to reception, so we decided to do it in all one location. Outside if the weather cooperates and if not the venue has a small room that we can use as back up if need be.

The first few weeks of Sept are actually the warmest/nicest weeks of the year here in foggy SF – so we’ll be outside as much as we can!  The ceremony will be outside (but under a pavilion in a public park), while the reception will be in a hotel ballroom.

Hoping for an outdoor ceremony but our venue can accomadate a last minute indoor if needed. Weather can be unpredictable up here in the northeast but as long as there isn’t and snow or a downpour it’ll be outside.

@cmoest:  The New England weather is just too unpredictable for outside for me. Could be 95 degrees, could be 40 degrees! Also, my hair and my high heels prefer the indoors.
