I’m not sure if these are up your alley but here are a couple of places we were checking out prior to deciding on our venue. Fathom Gallery, Torpedo Factory Art Center, Longview Gallery, The Powerhouse. Good luck!

Have you checked out Malmaison in Georgetown? It has a cool urban loft feel. I looked into it but the food and drink minimum was too high for us with a smaller group, but might work for you depending on your budget.

DOCK5

Have you considered DOCK5?

It might have the look and feel you’re going for.

MurphBee:  I just viewed Malmaison, beautiful but a bit over my budget as well. It’s the only venue I’ve visisted that’s all inclusive so I’m not sure if my other options will also be over budget once I add all the parts.

Did you find any other good venues?
