@jmsche:  We did Tribeca Treats for our cake! It was delicious and they were great to work with. I can’t say exactly what they would charge you because we eloped so our cake was only like.. 6 or 8 inches around, which was probably like 15 servings. BUT I can tell you that – with delivery, the whole thing was like 95 USD (cake was like 60 I think), and City Cakes wanted $350 for the SAME SIZE CAKE DECORATED THE SAME WAY – without delivery. And City Cakes were pretty rude and haughty when I tried to ask them questions, didn’t read the emails fully, and I had to ask the same thing over and over again.  So that was my experience.

I was considering Bassett Caterers and Real Food Catering before I went with a venue that didn’t require catering.

Our cake (contracted by the venue) is coming from Villabate bakery on Brooklyn.

@jmsche:  I know this is late but we used Bassett Caterers and they were amazing! People are still raving about the food. We had pork tenderlion, tuna tartare, sliders, eggplant parm, skirt steak. We used them for our rentals as well. Frank was an angel, so professional and responsive. When the elevators broke down at the venue, they never complained.

Also used BCakeNY for our wedding and groom cake, delish Bailey’s Irish flavor and Strawberry.
