Hi Bee’s –
My Fiance and I have our EIGHT (Yikes!) anniversary coming up on October 1st. This is our last anniversary, thank God, before we are married. My Fiance lost his job almost two weeks ago, but has fortunately found another one but it doesn’t start for two weeks.
We both want to do something just didn’t have any good idea’s on our budget. In the past we always took a mini trip somewhere to have time just to ourselves. I don’t want to lose this romatic tradition just because we are tight on money right now.
I’d love some inexpensive idea’s you Bee’s might have!

We are having a low key 1st wedding anniversary because money is tight/no vacation time left.
So! we are going on a bike ride through a bike trail that goes around a lake. It’s really beautiful and with the leaves changing colors should make for some pretty pics. We are bringing a picnic lunch and will probably make a nice meal for dinner when we get home.

I’m not sure if you are looking for inexpensive trip ideas or other inexpensive ideas?
If you still want to travel, you could plan a trip to somewhere nearby that doesn’t involve an overnight stay. A nice drive, lunch, dinner or even a picnic could be a romantic way to spend the day.
If you have someone close who could help, you could surprise him with little notes sharing your memories of those previous trips and hang them from helium balloons. The friend could place them while you are out.

@Bostongrl25: a picnic sounds like a good idea! We have beautiful parks in our area.
