kristen7747,
Have you checked out Jo Ann Fabrics or even WalMart? Not sure of their prices but I have definitely seen what you are looking for, especially at Jo Ann's.
What are the chances you are located in Los Angeles?
Downtown LA is the place to go if you live near here!
If not, I 2nd Joann's Fabric. They always have the 40% off coupons in the Sunday paper too!
I'd google, "discount organza" or something along those lines and see if you can find any good websites!
Most big cities have fabric districts, where they often sell fabric to the public. I'd try there, they're usually cheaper than retail stores.
When is your wedding? I have square gold-brown table satin toppers that I will be selling after 10/13/08. I purchased them used and they have a few tiny tears, so they'd be perfect to cut down to make runners. The tears are so tiny (an inch or less) that I'm planning to just use them as-is and assume they'll be covered up with all the decorations and plates etc. that nobody will ever notice. I could sell them for $300 plus shipping. I will launder them before selling them.

Hello! All of you bees have been SO helpful with other posts that I thought I would pose this problem to you. My MOH's mom has offered to make me table overlays for the reception. I want either gold, copper or chocolate brown. Every place that I have looked at fabric, organza has been a little out of my budget. Does anyone know of any websites/locations where I could find organza, satin or some other shiny fabric that would look good during an evening wedding with candlelight? Thank you!
