This may be a lost cause, but I am hoping one of you bees can help me!
My dream wedding has more of a family reunion vibe than a traditional wedding. I picture dancing, but also a bonfire and yard games in a park-like setting. Nothing formal or stuffy!!
The problem is that alochol is a must (my FI and I do not drink, but our families do). That eliminates all but a few parks. The guestlist is also between 150 and 175 and cannot be cut any further.
Our total budget (wedding, reception, rings, attire, etc…) is $5,000 or less, which eliminates most farms, etc… that I have seen so far.
So, any off-the-beaten path suggestions? Is this a lost cause?? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m having my wedding at Century Village in Burton, Ohio (so about a half hr south of Chardon?? I’m not good with directions past Mentor lol).
You can have alcohol as long as you hire a police officer.
They are SUPER reasonable. I think at most you’ll pay for the night will be around $1500 unless you are renting tents, but that would be off-site deal.
Here are a few weddings that have been there:
Another option is Patterson’s Fruit Farm. Super reasonable as well, and very nice facilities. I think at the end of the day it was around $1250 to rent there, but I wanted to use a family member as a caterer and that would have been an extra charge and I wanted rectangular tables (they include round). The only problem you may have is I think Patterson’s maxs out around 150 occupancy.
Feel free to peruse my pinboard of NE Ohio places (mostly East side):
