I used Vistaprint postcards for ours. We had a picture on the front with our names and the date (so that could easily be seen on the fridge), and more information on the back. I ordered 250 for about $55, but if you only need 100, you can get them for free and only pay shipping and handling. If you need more than 100, make sure you price two seaprate “free” orders vs. an order of 250. We only needed about 200, but it was cheaper to just order more!

They have magnets and regular cards too, but we decided to save money on postage. Only $0.29 for postcards!

I’ve also seen people suggest 123prints.com and overnightprints.com (I think that’s the name of it?)

Happy shopping!

We did magnets from Vistaprint.  We did the large size (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) and the nice thing is they always have discounts and promotions.  I added text using microsoft publisher to my picture, then uploaded it to the vistaprint website.  I found their customer service to be very helpful with helping me fit it on the magnet properly and putting a little black border around the edges so we didn’t have to worry about some of the image getting cut off in the wasted space area.  They fit in a basic sized envelope (the rectangular kind that you’d use if you were senxing a 4X6 picture so we bought some plain ivory ones at target and called it a day.  They weren’t too heavy so I could just use regular 44 cent stamps.  Here’s a pic–don’t mind the bad iphone quality!

p.s. If you use Vistaprint for anything, Google discount codes first. I’ve never paid full price for anything from them. You can sign up for their email alerts too and you will get LOTS of sales sent to you. Sometimes too many, but you can always just delete them 🙂

I just did mine this past weekend and gasp I used email

I took one of our favorite pictures (as chosen by the Hive of course) and edited it in Picnic and then used outlook to do an HTML email

The response was overwhelmingly positive – everyone was like wow do not have to hold on to anything and could click to your wedding website from it etc etc etc

this included the older generation which since I am in my 40’s is a truly older generation

It was very inexpensive and got the same message across and people appreciated that it was electronic.

We also used vistaprint’s “premium business cards” to make “share your photos with us” cards.  They turned out great too!

We ordered ours from MagnetStreet.com. It was $193.41 for 125 photo magnets (with our custom info on it), a card with custom info that we put the magnets on, and a silver lined envelope to fit it all. With postage, it cost us $242 total for our STDs. MagnetStreet.com was great to work with and the stuff came so quickly and super nicely packaged and they even included a wedding planning book, too!

Here is a pic of our final product (of the magnet):
