“Better” is relative.

I would suggest you only get an incorrectly sized ring if having it sized fits into your budget.  Otherwise you might lose your ring.

I wouldn’t wear silver against gold.  I dont think its wise.  I dont know anything about CZ’s but I hear other bees say its gets cloudy.  If you cant get what your looking for, why not get something nice and affordable and get the other kind as an upgrade/anniversary?

@2ndtime: that’s not true for everyone. my ring size is a 6.5 but I wear a size 7 sometimes on my right hand. it never comes close to accidentally falling off. it all depends on the shape of your finger.

to the OP: as a test, try buying a cheap size 6 ring and wear it around, see if it falls off. that would be a good test before you go and buy the real deal.

I encourage you keep looking! (edit) my SIL has a white gold & diamond channel set band that she found for $200. I think it looks nice. she got it in toronto, but I’m not sure where.

if you were looking for a temp solution that might be good for a few years (so you could upgrade later) would be a 10k gold band with cz stones. 10k does not cost very much and would look better than sterling silver.

one final thought: if you did not want to buy a temporary ring, and wanted to buy something now that you could wear for a long time, I’d invest that $200 in a plain white gold band.

LOL, now you’ve gotten me looking at rings again! here is a 14k white gold and CZ eternity band that got two good reviews for $209

and a 10k white gold with diamond band for $176:
