I’m getting a few little things with our first initials made for our wedding and am wondering which initial should go first! Mine is C and his is T. We are not doing a traditional monogram with the last name, so it would either be C & T or T & C. I’ve found conflicting ideas online- thoughts?

Edit to add- this is one initial from our FIRST names only, not last names!

I’ve done everything with my initial first.

@bkrocks13: The wedding I went to last month had Bride’s first initial + Groom’s first initial. Hope this help.

I’ve been doing his + mine, because it looks better that way in our font.

I’m not 100% sure, but I always thought that the bride’s name went first on things like that

Ladies first! Think of it this way: If C is your inital and T is his, and you were writing our your names, it’d be Chrissy and Tim Smith (becuase you don’t want to split a man from “his” last name). So I would imagine that if you cut everything out, it would be C&T
