@futuremrsk18:  I’m currently doing T25.  I LOVE Insanity, but the workouts are just a little too long!

I just finished my first month on Tuesday! I’m starting the core cardio and balance today! I would love keeping track of progress with other bees. I’ve lost motivation before after finishing the first month so it would be great to talk insanity with other bees!

@futuremrsk18:  because the second month is ridiculously hard and also the work outs get longer. When I did insanity the first time a months ago I had people suggest that I do the first month twice or I wouldn’t be prepared for the second month. They were right. It was so difficult that I just gave up. I think I’m ready this time but I’m worried about the increase in the length of the work outs.

@futuremrsk18:  I like it a lot!!  It’s fairly similar to Insanity.  I like it because it doesn’t have any breaks.  Not even the 30 second water breaks.  It’s 10 weeks, so it’s a little longer, but I still like it a lot.  There are more workouts too so it isn’t as repetitive

I fall into the group that lost motivation in the second month which totally bummed me out because I was so excited about the results I got after the first month. Starting the second month felt similar to how the first month felt the first couple of times I did it, which was really really really out of shape, which is discouraging after you feel like you made so much progress, but it wasn’t that that made me quit – I just got too busy. The workouts are only 15-20 minutes longer, but I felt like that was just long enough to make it hard to fit in. Plus six days a week – that’s asking a lot and hard to keep up when I feel like I have a trillion things to do. Good luck, though! It’s an awesome program.

@mcfole2715:  you brought up good points! I guess the second month wasn’t actually that hard but it was discouraging because I felt like I should have been more fit by then. Also agree that even though 15-20 minutes isn’t actually that much longer it adds on just enough that work outs are difficult to fit in. I already struggle to fit in the month one workouts so I’m not sure how I’m going to get month two workouts done six days a week!

I started with my husband in mid August. We haven’t finished the first month yet. I was doing so good, but then my MIL was here for three weeks and otlife stuff got in the way. I’m trying to get back in 6 days a week, but I’m coming down with a cold and its so freakin hard if you don’t feel 100%.

I’m going to finish the first month, and then start again. I have noticed I’m starting to get abs and the annoying flabby parts of my thighs are shrinking a bit! So it does work, I just need to stick to it and clean up my diet. It’s no retry good overall, but I want to stop eating so much sugar.

@futuremrsk18:  I got it when it first came out and did it almost every day for about 5 weeks, then I fell off of the wagon (Whoops).  I will say, in those 5 weeks I was seeing really, really awesome results.  Also my stamina was improving rapidly!  I just got back in to it last week and I’m already noticing little differences. I don’t take before and after pictures though.  I pretty much refuse to have shirtless pictures of myself on any camera or phone or anything lol

I just finished Insanity about two weeks ago.  No before and after pictures, though.  I didn’t use it to try to lose weight, I just wanted a good workout challenge.  I was doing Jillian Michaels workouts 5-6 days a week before Insanity and wanted to see how Insanity compared.  I wasn’t crazy about the first month of workouts.  I lost muscle tone and felt a bit flabby — so much cardio and so little strength training.  I love strength training.  I’m better at it than I am at cardio and I find it much more relaxing.

I LOVED the second month of workouts, though.  That’s when I started getting good results — so keep going even if you haven’t mastered the first month of workouts (you probably won’t — no need to worry; you can always go back to them when you finish month two).  I like the way my body slimmed out a bit.  I’m a bit smaller and less muscle-y compared to Jillian’s workouts — although I miss some of my muscle definition.  I’m also much more flexible.

Now I don’t know what to do for my workouts!
