(Closed) Insomnia strikes again!

Ihave insomnia too. Ifind this works for me

Turn off EVERYTHING( except alarm for the morning).

Lay down so your comfortable.

Take 4 deep breaths

Tense your body up and slowly relax each part of your body staring with your toes going to your legs all the way to your face and head. 

Taking slow even breaths.

Repeat as needed

I’m having a hard time going to sleep too because I’m having bad leg pain. 🙁

I hope you can find relief soon!

I have anxiety and it’s the reason for my insomnia. Reading is the thing for me. Granted sometimes I get sucked in and want to continue to read, but I can’t tell you how many times i’ve fallen asleep with a book in my hand, sleep wins out lol. It’s the only think that does it for me.

@imalittlebirdie:  My dad swears by this method (he would wake up with the quietest alarm you could imagine), and I’ve used it some too with success usually.  Personally I used to think I had insomnia when I was a kid/teen, but realized my body clock is just screwed lol.  I can sleep/wake up fine if it’s not normal night/morning (morning/afternoon=fine, afternoon/evening=fine). :/  For me an idea day would be about 30 hours.  I didn’t have a “day job” until I was almost 30 and it’s tough!  But they pay more usually… meh…. what can ya do? 🙂  Good luck!  Some swear by warm milk.
