Quick question ... What program do most of you use to create your "inspiration boards"? I am fairly good with computers but I want to be able to create a board that I can put on my wedding website -- (it wont be of the wedding but rather an "inspiration board" of my family photos). So I want it to be like one "photo" ... any and all help would be appreciated!
For a freeware version of Photoshop, download GIMP. If you don't know how to use photoshop at all, then there is a learning curve to figure out how to use these programs.
You can also just drop your photos into something simple like MS Paint if all you are doing is arranging separate photos into one big photo. Or Word, or Powerpoint.
Google's Picasa is totally free and offers a "collage" function on the bottom. It is great for doing basic edits and downloading pictures off of your digital camera. It seems to be Google's answer to Apple's iPhoto (which is what I would use on a Mac)

But for a project like yours, you might do well with the BigHugeLabs photo mosaic program: http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/mosaic.php
