I would definitely incorporate burlap or twine somewhere into your invites. If you Google "burlap wedding invitations," you can view a lot of pictures for inspiration.
If you want to keep it really cheap, downloadandprint.com and weddingchicks.com both have really pretty, free invitation suites. And you can fancy those up with twine, burlap, ribbon, pocketfolds, basically, whatever you want!
@RayRayFurious: Thanks thats great! I've never heard of those sites before, off to check them out now :D

So, I've always thought invitations would be an easy thing to get my head around, I'm quite an arts and crafts kind of a girl so making them is not a problem. However, a close friend of my fiance owns a printing company and is offering to print them for free! BRILLIANT! We're having a short engagement and tbh I don't have the time to do them myself ... BUT being creative on the computer, not my forte :S
Our wedding has a vintage country theme. The reception is being held in a barn with lots of flowers and we're having lots of vintage china and some antique furniture centre pieces ... so how can I design an invite that incorporates this without giving too much away?!
Can anyone provide me with some inspiration please?!
