Great find! I would agree that love is a process and a skill as much as it is a feeling.

our honeymoon phase lasted a long time. Up until we got engaged, Which was 6 years. Then we hit a rough patch and I thought, this isn’t right, maybe we aren’t meant for each other. I talked to my mom, who has had her share of relationships that have gone sour. She said to me “you can decide that this isn’t right  and throw it all away but i have never experienced what i see between you two. From my perspective it is not a question of if you are right for each other, because you are. It is a question of whether you will work at it and fight to keep the love alive. That is your choice”. That quieted all fears i had. I am willing to fight, he is willing to fight, so we continue to feel the love because we worked to get back to the honeymoon feelings.

Awesome!! Love it. A relationship takes WORK to uh… make it work.

as a book I read said (something along these lines):

“Perhaps the most important factor in a realtionship suceeding is the desire and determination that it SHALL continue.”

People give up too easily… assume it should always be easy. Also, marriage and kids do not FIX pre-existing relationship problems, people sometimes assume that they will and it always drives me a little crazy and makes me a bit sad…
