We recently found out that we are going to have a baby boy! I am already getting excited for a professional newborn photo shoot. But so many of the photos that I have seen and loved were of baby girls, with pretty hair bows and sweet little ribbon booties, and pretty baby girls sleeping in doll cradles. It seems there is just so much more photo shoot cuteness for baby girls!

Please share any wonderful newborn photo shoots you have seen that feature bouncing baby BOYS!

I would Google "Photographers (your city) and look at some of their online portfolios. You know they put the "best of the best" up there. :)

i saw a really cute photo of a bundled little newborn boy on a bookshelf (i know sounds weird) surrounded by the framed wedding photos of the parents. It was in their house and was on a manly librarly like bookcase. adorable.

ooo also! I've also seen a swaddled newborn photographed inside a baseball mit. If they're small enough it'd be cute, esp it the father was a baseball fan!

Awe, the baseball mit is a cute idea! You could also do that with a bunch of different sports balls around...football, baseball, basketball, hockey puck...or you could buy a giant toy dump truck and nestle him in the bed of the truck!

EDIT: Congratulations! I can't believe I forgot that the first time around!
