Ok, so this is pretty easy, just let us know what catagory you fall into and what catagory your FI falls into - at the date of the wedding.
Maybe comments as to where you're from and if that is the norm? (Being from NZ I find the different cultures posts really interesting)
PS Sorry I stopped at 45 - can only have so many poll answers!
My FI will be 25. I voted for the 20-25 rather than 25-30 since his bday is a few weeks beforehand.
FI will be 25 and I will be 25. He is only 5 months and 8 days older than me lol.
we'll be 28 (me) and 33 (him) at the wedding. we live in new york where i think we're fairly average as far as age goes. if anything i'm on the young side. we're getting married in maryland where we're probably a bit older than the average marrying age. we both look young for our age so when we have gone to look at wedding venues we kind of get looked at like we're fresh out of college. someone asked me if i had graduated high school yet (no i do not look THAT young). it's interesting to see how we're treated when we let them guess our ages (and they guess way younger), and then when we correct them and let them know how old we are. all of the sudden vendors seem to take us more seriously and make less assumptions about parents footing the bill.
I will be 30 and he will be 40. We live in San Diego, but I don't know how common our age range is. Interestingly enough, my MOH/BFF is the same age as I am, and her fiance is also 10 years older. So, perhaps more common than I think? ;-)
28 me, 32 him
I like to tease him about being the older man :) drives him nuts.
In terms of our social circles we are exactly the age everyone seems to be getting married. We are almost the last couple, but the rest were either several years ago, or within the last year or so.
I'll be 26 and he'll be 28. We live in the midwest, and we're actually on the old side for our area. Most of my friends here are married. I used to live in Colorado, which was a different story. It didn't seem like people got married as young there, but I was in college then, so that might be a variable.
I will be 25 and he will be 26. I'd say we are pretty standard. We will have been dating for 10 years though!
@MissAdventure: So funny. We were 30 and 40 also and also in San Diego AND my MOH and her husband are 11 years apart. (FI and I are 11 years apart...he turned 41 a month after.)
We will both be 25 at the time of our wedding next October (year from today actually!!!). We live in Upstate, NY. ALOT of people my age are already married and have been for years. I'm very content with us being 25. From what I read its the nations average age for first time brides.
I was 25 and my DH was 26. Many of our friends are married. A lot of my high school friends got married young 19, 20, 21. Now about half my college friends are married and most of my husband's college friends are married.
I was just a month shy of 22 and he was 23.
I'm 25 and he will be 32, but we both look quite young (although as soon as Sam speaks everyone takes him seriously, he totally has that 'I work on radio' vibe haha)
I am 25 and he is 44 (I just put 45+ because the only other option was 35-40). We are getting married next week.
We were both 26. I never saw myself getting married until I was 30, but things changed!
We will both be 23, but it's just a few weeks before his 24th bday and a little longer til mine (very late bday).
I will be 28 and he will be 29. He turns 30 about 2 weeks after the wedding though.
56 me, 41 her. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be an option for 40-45 for him. Since it wasn't clear who was "him" in our case, and there was no option for "him" to be 40-45, I answered as though NotFroofy was me, and I was "him."
We'll both be 27. Although I feel like we're on the older side of people getting married, we don't have that many married couples in our friend group (and most of them that are married got married this year...so I guess we're about average or slightly young for our friend group).
I'll be 47, he'll be 38. Am I the only bee marrying a younger man?
We both will turn 24 this year and our age is about the norm for couples marrying in Baltimore.
I'm 24 and he's 40. We were married just over 2 months ago.
I think it's fairly the norm for where we are (England) to get married in your late 20s to mid 30s. I tend to see more brides in that age bracket, from around 28-35ish. Mr Moo and myself are certainly not the norm because of the large age gap but most people think he's younger and I'm older anyways.
I'm 31, he's 28. Same as when we were married 4 months ago. We are both getting close to going up a year though! Me in November, him in February.
I was 23 (now 24) and my husband was 26 (now 27) I think we are on the younger side of average...but we have several friends who are in their mid 20s (25-27) who are just getting engaged or about to be getting married.
Me - 28, Him - 38. We both have June birthdays so we're nearly exactly 10 years apart.
Me -38
him - 42 (I couldn't poll him because there is no choice for 40-45)
I was 28 and my husband was 44. First marriage for me, second for him.
I am 27 and he is 28. Alot of my friends had baby's first and then got married but to each their own.
Both 28, he's from the midwest and I'm from the East Coast, but our relationship developed in NYC where people either don't get married at all or wait really long.
