What are you wearing for your bridal shower?

Instead of a wedding website, what about a wedding email?

After talking to FI, I don't think we want to do a website.  For a whole list of reasons.  I was thinking that maybe we can provide an email address for questions, etc - we already have one set up for dealing with our vendors, etc.  This way if someone has a question on where to stay, or any general questions, they can easily email us and we'll get them whatever info they need.  We could include the email address somewhere in our save the date.

Of course we'll also send out some general info with our invites - like hotel information.  But I thought this could serve as a way for people to get in touch with us if they have other questions, or have questions before they get the invite.

What do you think of this?  Have you heard of it being done before?  I feel like either - this could be really helpful, or - I'm just overthinking it all and I don't need to give out an email address.

We did this!  We set up a new gmail with newlastnamewedding@gmail.com.  It was very useful.

We used it for 2 things

    - All our e-mails to vendors, quotes etc, plus this meant all our expeses were in the one place which meant it was very easy to add up afterwards.

    - We put the same email address in with our invites to guests.  They could ask us questions, rsvp online if they wanted to etc.

    It worked extremely well!

I will be stealing this idea haha. I don't want a wedding website, but I think this is perfect!
