It’s possible the baby is pressing on a nerve which is causing the pain. It happened to my sister also. I hope you feel better!

It sounds like a nerve is either trapped (in a tight muscle..kind of like a pinched nerve, except a pinched nerve would be stuck in a bone or spinal disk and is a bigger problem) or the baby is pushing on it.

I have clients with nerve entrapment in a muscle that is similar to this, but that can be worked out with a massage pretty easily (you just need to get the muscle to relax). If the baby was pushing on it then you’d just have to wait until the baby was out (sorry!). But if it seemed to have start from overworking, then I would bet that it might be that the nerve is just trapped and irritated by a tight muscle. Rubbing the right muscle and icing it helps, you just need to find the muscle where the pain is originating! =)

Hmmm.. I had back pain but nothing like that. Maybe sit in a bath and take a tylenol? If its unbearable I think you should ask your doctor. Sorry I could not be more help!

Do you have access to a pool? That might give you some relief and if you do some laps the baby might shift positions.
