Swearing and all I needed this! Written quite comically but has some good points... even for parenting "good kids"
I can attest to the repeating yourself and not asking "OK?".... DS definitely follows instruction less when I do these 2 things and when I ask "ok?" I get more of a response like "no I don't want to do that....." and then get to clarify I wasn't actually ASKING! lol
DS is a really good kid, but sheesh idk if it's b/c I'm almost 8mths pregnant now or what but I've definitely broken down more lately than I EVER did in the first 7 years of his life. lol
