I'm walking to "Here Comes the Bride" just for tradition's sake, but the rest of the bridal party before me is walking to Handel's "Largo," a very regal-sounding organ piece.
Maybe you can appease your FI and his grandma with one of these renditions of the traditionals?

So, my fiance surprised me by stating that he expected our ceremony music to be instrumental. (Actually, he said, "You're not walking in to Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun?" He meant Here Comes the Bride. I said I wasn't planning on it, and he said, "My Grandma's gonna have a heart attack.")
Apparently, he really wants to stick closer to tradition and have instrumental/classical-ish music for the ceremony (though I have refused to walk to Here Comes the Bride). The problem is we're a month out already and I wasn't expecting to have to come up with all these kinds of songs. We have a DJ for our ceremony so it's not like I'm working with musicians or anything.
Does anyone have any ideas of interesting arrangements for the ceremony? I really like Jon Schmidt, especially his interpretation of "Love Story" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXtVBJDPs6k), and I guess I'm hoping someone has some ideas of other similar types of songs or something?
What are you walking down the aisle to?
