thanks serabell, from the other name post. howmanyofme.com is so interesting! according to them, I was the only person with my [maiden] name in the USA. Now after my name change, I'm one of 5.
Anyone else have a unique name? Mine isn't really, but I guess it is statistically.
Interesting site. I am the only person with my name (first + last) and will still be the only one after I get married. We both have uncommon (in the US) Italian last names and there aren't a whole lot of Jordyns around.
That is interesting! I'm the only one with my first+last name, and will also be the only one after I hyphenate my last name!
I am pretty sure that I will be th eonly one before and after marriage. My name is pretty unique. I am waiting on the results now...

My first name there are 14 and my last name is in the millions but after I get married there will only be one of me!
Apparently there is "1 or fewer" of me (first + last) in the US. I'm pretty sure there is 1.... lol My last name is unusual with less than 115 in the US (pretty sure my fam/extended fam are the only ones in the US).
If I take my FI's last name (still undecided) there will be 11 of me. His last name is waaaay more common and there are 8,718 people in the US with his last name. Lame.
Oh, so cool! Unfortunately I'm far from an original. Even after I change my name I'll be one of like 500. Jeez!
Wait a second. If there are only 121 people with my name as it is now, how come the library always gave me a hard time about taking out books, they always thought I was another girl who never brought her books back! Lol. The chances of that have to be slim, small world I guess.

There are only 4 with my current name and 14 with my new name. There are 438 people with FH's name combination. I also checked the names we were thinking about for any future kids (one boy, one girl) and they would both be the first in the US with their names (first + last)
This is very cool - - There is only one of me with my maiden name and thats MOI - - However with my soon to be married name there are 3 of me 
Yay glad everyone likes that site :). Let's see, my last name is uncommon now so there's only about 100 of my last name & when I change to his last name, it becomes a little over 5000! Ahhh!!! Well, there's only 1 of me with first & last names together, so that's at least a relief. There are 2 of my FI!
There are 11 of me, which irks me for some reason. There can be only one. Harumph.
One of me with my maiden name, and one of me when I change my name over to my husband's. That's what you get when you have a weird german last name. 
The site says there is only one person with my first name and last name. After I take my FI's name, I will be one of 1,225 with my first name and FI's last name. And his sister is also one of them...
I was the only one with my maiden name. Now I'm on of 22.
Both my maiden name and married last name there are two others...hmm who could they be?
haha, I checked this out before. With my maiden name there are "one or fewer" of me, and with my married name I'll jump to 657!! They even have their own facebook group.
Now there are 3,793 with my First + Maiden Name. Once I'm married there will be 2 (1 currently). Holy Mother of Pearl!

I'm the only person with my first and last name....and the only person with my first name and my fiance's last name. My fiance is also the only one with his first and last name! Fun :-)

I tried it. But I don't think it's right. I have a pretty unique last name and would have otherwise believed it, when it said I was the only one. But we have stumbled upon other people with our same names.
It said my husband was the only one with his name. But he in fact has been in contact with another man by the exact same name. (Looking to see if they were somehow related.)
I also, for fun, looked myself up on People Search (or the like). It came up with at least one other person with my same name.
It's a fun site But I don't think it's accurate.
cool! there are 23 people in the United States with the same name as me
if i take his name there are 6 people in the US :D
i did my sisters name and she is the ONLY person in the US with her name! so cool :D

Yeah, I'm not believing this site. It says I am one of 3 (maiden name) but facebook alone tells me their are 9 of us. I have a super common first name (Nicole) and while I haven't met anyone with my last name, I do know it is a pretty common german name :/

New name: just me! And only 115 or less of my new name (definitely his huge family)
I'm SO excited to have a unique name! I know it'll be harder to spell and my kids will probably be less than thrilled, but I can't wait to find myself on google when I search :) Oh, and @babyboo, facebook searches internationally, so there could just be a lot of "yous" in Germany!
Maiden name, I'm a one and only. Married name, one and only. Though like others have said, I think there are more than one with my maiden name. The married name is probably correct though. :)
@ebs: nope, almost all of them are in the US (I think 7 total)! Just logistically it doesn't make sense that so many of the women that posted on this thread are the only one's in the US,especially those who tried both maiden/married names. I'm sure it is true for some, but I'm not sure the data is completely correct for everyone :)

@babyboo, see, now I was intrigued! Apparently it's pulling from the 1990 and 2000 census, but nothing else. Earlier censuses didn't have name data, and obviously we're still in the 2010 census. Knowing they're relying on the government, not surprising they're not 100% right :)
