I have a few invites going out of the country and I was thinking of putting in a note in those rsvps asking that they email my their rsvp (they are all close friends). basically i’m too lazy to figure out what return postage would be from multiple countries. Is that beyond tacky??? Do i have to suck it up and figure it out and if so, how do i even buy foreign postage? I know lots of others on here must have dealt with this so please tell me what you did!!! Thanks!

I think it would be perfectly fine to include a note asking them to email their RSVPs. You won’t be able to postage on the out of country ones because you have to use postage from their country, and unless you go to the countries website and order by the book, it really wouldn’t be worth it.

noritake22: is correct. Do not worry about trying to get postage from other countries. Offering those guests the option to RSVP via email is very understanding and generous of you. If they don’t want to use email, they will find a stamp.

I included a RSVP envelope for our international guests but no stamps – I figure they would find their own stamps if they wanted to mail the RSVP, and there was also the option of RSVPing at our wedding website. although most of them seem to be just e-mailing my mother their RSVPs…
