@Luxuryshoegal88: I also would like to lose some weight… 35-40 lbs for me… this makes shopping for a dress harder on me… I’m starting to wonder if I should buy it a size too small so I motivate myself. LOL If I do end up losing more than 1 dress size (I hope) then I’ll have it taken in.

@Luxuryshoegal88:  Welcome!  Are you getting married in San Diego?  I am also a September 2011 California bride.  ๐Ÿ˜€ My goal is to have fun planning this stuff!

I threw my scale out a few years ago and can’t really help with the weight loss stuff, but am kind of a gym rat and always up for talking exercise/fitness.  There’s plenty of other women on here who are doing exercise for weight loss / weight watchers / etc though.

That would be awesome! I will only be going there for the graduation though. I don’t know how well I would be able to keep you in check lol

@Luxuryshoegal88:  I play ultimate frisbee so a fair amount of my working out is making feeble attempts to stink slightly less at it. ๐Ÿ˜‰  I play ultimate a couple times a week.  Some days I do the elliptical, but I am trying to do more interval running on the treadmill and tempo runs outside to get faster.  I also have a couple of different weights workouts I do – one to build up stability & agility for frisbee and another that’s more upper body and core strength stuff.

I love love love interval running, though.  You can do it pretty casually if you run outside or if you have access to a gym you can do elliptical/bike/stairmaster intervals.  The idea is to go super super hard for an interval, then have a cooldown of about the same length.

I lost about 40 lbs on Weight Watchers a couple of years ago. It is a great program ๐Ÿ™‚

9/24 and I am trying to grow my hair longer, become blonder (during the fall/winter months I dyed my hair darker), and lose about 8-10lbs.  I’m petite 5’1 so every bit of weight shows on me.  My problem is I love food, always have :o( I have also been practicing new ways to do makeup for my Engagment photos which will be taken in about 2 weeks.  Can’t wait for the big day!
