I stumbled across this today and found it a little weird. My picture is on my FBIL’s wedding website. I am not in the wedding at all. In the section in which they introduce the wedding party, they introduced my fiance as best man… but used one of our engagement pictures without asking!
awkward? or not? I have no idea if I’m just overreacting or it genuinely is a little weird. I don’t personally like my engagement photos floating around the net unless I have been asked.

I think they should of asked, but it’s not totally weird considering a lot of facebook profile pics have a couple pic-maybe it was the nicest pic they could find of him or maybe they wanted to include you as a “joining the family” vibe . I’d be glad they used a nice engagement pic as opposed to grabbing any ol pic off of facebook. If you’re really uncomfortable with it- you can always ask them to crop you out?

How did they get the engagement pic? I put up pictures of our wedding party but only choose from pictures they themselves had posted on facebook. If you posted it online and they just copied it to put it on their website then I don’t think it’s that weird but maybe that’s just me? I agree with PP though if you are not comfortable I am sure they would take it down or crop you out.

I am not sure how they got it! Trying to figure that out, maybe FH sent some to his family and they took it from there. Idk why though. FH has a TON of amazing pictures by himself.
