Hey and welcome, and I'm sure if your SO is cool with the WB and the waiting boards, surely that means your closer to the engagement than you think? Doesn't hurt to be on the waiting list, all the ladies on it don't 100% know when a proposal will happen, they just believe it will :)
Welcome! I'vebeen reading these boards for about a year now and posting for a few months. It's a great place to go when you are feeling anxious or upset or anything! To be honest, I love it so much I'll probably keep reading the waiting boards after I'm engaged.

Hello Bees!
I have been stalking the forums for the past few weeks and finally decided to join after having a great talk with my boyfriend.
You see, for the past few weeks I've been kind of bummed thinking I wanted an exact answer asap, since I'd been asking my SO for a while what he predicted our future to look like.
We're planning a huge move as soon as I'm done with my undergraduate studies in about three years (From CA to Europe- most likely Germany, Denmark, Austria, etc). So I've been freaking out a little wondering if we'll just be dating still or if I'll actually be able to put a more committed title on our relationship. Well turns out we were both having similar thoughts. I just couldn't bring myself to move so many miles away with him without something to show for the past 5 years (3 years from now).
Luckilly the talk went really well and we agree we're not ready to be engaged now as we have a lot of expenses to worry about (ie University tuition, rent, vacation/research trips to figure out where we want to live). But it should happen sometime after the next year (which is perfect since I have a strange dislike with even numbers and it would be nice to have been together for 3 years when we're both odd ages and the year is odd as well. I know I know, these things shouldn't matter, but I'm a little OCD about it (won't even set my thermostat for an even number). Sorry to go on so long.
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself, as I feel it's way too early to add myself to the Waiting List at least for the next year or so, but for now I'm happy to be waiting and happy to have discussed this with my SO.
(I even showed him the WB boards particularly this Waiting one and he's supportive!)
