So many of us have great expectations in how a proposal could be. Lets play a game. Write your perfect proposal or, if you were the one proposing? How would you do It? Lets say money is no object and nothing is impossible. Just for fun.

I live in Canberra (the capital city of Australia, FYI), and it is ringed on 3 sides by mountains. These ranges are national parks but they have BBQ places. I would pick ones of these place (if I was SO). Bendora dam is surrounded by dense forrest and is so magical (and slightly creepy at the same time 😛 ). It also has fire pits that you are allowed to use outside of the fire ban season.
Picinc lunch menu:
porterhouse steak (cooked by SO on the open fire)
garlic butter mushrooms
chocolates from Koko Black for dessert.
I would skip the champaigne though (i’m alergic to sulfides and its a long, winding, sheer-drop drive to the dam). Apple juice is fine.
A walk down to the edge of the lake after lunch would be a good opportunity to pop the question.
As you can tell, I’ve barely given this any thought….. 😛

My perfect proposal would be on day one of a week long vacation together. We’d be out hiking, hike to the top of a mountain, the weather would be perfect, and no one would be around. He’d say a lovely speach that he’d prepared and give me the ring. I’d gleefully accept, and we’d kiss and take pictures and generally be excited.
Then he’d surprise me that we were staying in a awesome cabin instead of camping. We’d get to enjoy the rest of the week together hiking and having fun, and have it be our yummy little secret until the vacation was over.
In reality my proposal was nothing like this…I was pretty disapointed (and still am a little). But hey, now I’m married! So hopefully the proposal is not representative of the marriage!
