Hi bees, was wondering and wanted to get ur opinions..

for your invitation addresses, are you using printing labels and putting those on the invites? are you handwriting them yourselves? using a calligrapher?..j

just wanted to know because i was reading this book, the wedding book, by mindy weiss and she was saying to avoid printing labels for the invites...i know everyone's different and has their own ways of doing things, so i was wondering what yours was...i'm not quite sure what i'm doing yet..

Im hiring a calligrapher to do mine.  I hate the label option (the stick on office-store type) but I like the look of the wrap aroudn ones.

Handwriting. I think they feel more personal, I never like receiving things with labels on them.

Print them right on the envelope with a great font! Easy and looks great.

Printing them can look amazing, like @gocubbies said, as long as you use the right font! Also consider a thick paperstock to make it look a bit more formal.

My Mom is handwriting them for me because I have the penmanship of a 5-year old.

For our RSVP cards, I had someone on Etsy make a cute stamp of our names and address, and I was going to stamp that right on the envelope instead of writing or printing our address.  But a friend of mine was concerned that USPS will not like that and I may not receive them.  Does anyone know if that will be a problem?  I am sending a few test envelopes to myself.

    It's this one, BTW:
