@gingerkitten:  i just did research on things like this since i just addressed my envelopes too.

Typically, if there are young children you list them under the name

ex-

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
Christopher and Anna
123 Main Street
SmallTown, NY 12345

An unmarried couple living together would look like this:

Mr. John Smith
Ms. Joan Rivers
123 Main Street
SmallTown, NY 12345

I’m thinking that in your situation, I would just list the BF as a guest … especially since you don’t know his last name. I’d do it like this:

Ms. Joan Rivers and Guest (technically it’s supposed to read as “guest” but i didn’t listen haha)
Christopher and Anna
123 Main Street
SmallTown, NY 12345

Hope this helps!

I would call her and ask his last name. If it;s a serious live in boyfriend she might be offended at a generic ‘guest’ invite. Otherwise I second PP.

Ms. Jane Doe

Mr. JOhn Whatshisname

Billy and Anna Smith

123 address street

town, state zip
