(Closed) Invitation color choices—

If you don’t want anything too Christmas, then I would’t do any variation of green. Maybe just stick with red for the invites since you know you want that as one of your colors. Then that gives you some time to decide what accent color you want.

What about a pale gold?  That wouldn’t be too Christmasy and I know they have lots of invitations out there with red as the primary color and gold trim!

I love Red and Pool/Lagoon together!  I agree that if you don’t want them to look too Christmassy to stay away from a true green color, but I think the Red and Pool/Lagoon color palette is very in right now.

Just wanted to second Cupcake on this one. She’s definitely the "invitation authority" aorund here and she knows what she is talking about! I think Red/Pool is a great winter color scheme that won’t look overly theme-y. Sounds like it is going to be a beautiful wedding!
