I would definitely have to go with your FI for this one. I think the invitation looks too plain without it especially considering that the corners are tucked into place.
i think it looks lovely stamped.
Like a little bit of glitz to embelish for a elegant feel. :)
The paper is a really dark brown, and we chose the gold because it matches the save the date cards that we made (they held magnets). 
I like the idea of an embellishment. I'm not sure I love the gold stamp though. I like the idea of a black corner as well.
Thanks for all of your input guys! I think we're going to be stamping them!

FH and I put together these invitations ourselves. He loves the corner embellishment; me, not so much. These are both templates, so don't mind the smudges/different color ink! (Sorry about the giant photo as well, I wanted to make sure you could see the details.)
