Hi Bees,
I have a couple grammar questions on invitation, and want some advice on our wording.
2. In our invitation, we would like to request people to RSVP, is it supposed to be "R.S.V.P." or "r.s.v.p.", or "RSVP"? We are using it in the bottom... "Please R.S.V.P. by ....."
Our wording is:
we,
Bride and Groom
together with our parents
Mr. & Mrs ....
Mr. & Mrs ...
request the honour of your presence as we unite before God
at VENUE on DATE at TIME.
Reception will be held at VENUE at TIME
3. Should we add a comma after "our parents", and another comma after the parents name?
4. Now that I typed it out, do you bees think we should change the RECEPTION wording to "Reception to follow at VENUE at TIME" so it implies it's on the same day?
THanks A BUNCH!
