    Okay, what kind of wedding are you having? Is it in a church or other place of worship? Are your parents hosting? Are his parents going to be upset that their names aren’t on the invite?

    The wording with honor is usually for church ceremonies, so I voted #2.  We are also doing everything at the venue, and our wording is:

     

    Together with their families

    AlmostMrsP

    and

    MrP

    request the pleasure of your company

    at the celebration of their marriage

     

     

    We are hosting, with small financial contributions from both sets of parents.
