@itsmrs.wideman2u: If I were to do it all again I’d order rather than DIY. I reckon for not much more money I could’ve saved time and they’d have looked more finished.

We bought Wilton pre-cut invites, them we printed them and assembled them! It cost like $15 for 25 pocket invites with bows!

@itsmrs.wideman2u:  Whatever costs less! Mine came to about $60 DIY and I got a lot of compliments on them. When I read about how much some brides spend on invitations alone it makes my head spin. They just get thrown in the garbage anyway.

We DIYed and I LOVED the outcome, they were very unique and customized (of course) and I felt great knowing that no one else would have invitations like them.  In the end though, they definitely cost more if not the same amount of money as if we would have ordered them.  That was due to some trial and error as well as some expensive materials… in the end, I’m still glad that we DIYed it all and I would definitely do it again!

I designed my own in Photoshop and printed them on cardstock. They weren’t super frilly but people really liked them. 🙂 And it was $10 for 50 invitations, can’t beat that!
