I don't see the other design but I really like the pockets. (and the chandilier design)
I love the packages - they're completely adorable, and I've never gotten one before. But postage might be something to consider as well.
Of these two I would definitely go with the Pockets... I'm just not a fan of the boxed invites.
Good luck!
I would do the pockets. I think they make a nicer presentation and are more likely to fit in someones mailbox. I don't know if budget is a huge concern for you but I would guess you would save a bit of cash with the pockets as well. Then again, go with what you love.
I like the pockets, and am thinking about doing them as well, but the package invites are so elegant. I would love to receive a boxed invite, if only because it's different.
I really like the pocket invitiations, and I think in your colors they will be amazing! I could not even imagine the cost of postage on the package invites! Ay curumba! :)
i priced out both options and they come in pretty close.
with the pockets, i would do the shimmer pockets so those are .80 each from cards and pockets. i would also have to pay the etsy seller for the invite design template. (i don't know my way around photoshop, indesign, or illustrator to design it myself.) i would then have to pay for the invites to be printed and cut. i could do them myself but i have nightmares of crooked and smeared invites.
the packages are pretty inexpensive from papermart. i found them in tiffany blue for just a little more. the invite design is from 123print so their printing is quite inexpensive. the postage i see varies from just under $1 to $2 for each depending on insert and additonal stuff i might want to include.
and since i've cut my wedding from 500-900 guests to 200 guests, i can splurge a little more for invites.

Please help me. I still have a lot of time to decide but I think it's making me indecisive. I'm doing everything early and ahead of schedule so it's giving time to look around and change my mind.
When I started this whole wedding thing, I decided that I wanted to do pocket invitations with the step inserts. I ordered samples from cards and pockets in the various styles and colors. I then received two wedding invitations and they were both pockets. My future sis in law made her own and the layout is uniquely hers. I will not be doing that. I will order them premade. It doesn't bother me that something is hugely popular so that's not my problem
My problem is that I ordered invitation samples from a ton of places and I'm in love with one of the designs. It doesn't fit into the pockets so I was thinking about sending the invite with all the inserts in a kraft box. I like the idea of receiving a package containing an invite.
So if you were my guest, would prefer to receive a pocket invite (chandelier design) or a package (lotus design)? We're getting married at s Country Club in Las Vegas so I don't know if one fits the setting more than the other. The pockets would be a tiffany blue and the chandelier deisgn would be red and accented with tiffany blue.
