I used directions. While I think a map is realllly cute I think directions are a lot easier to follow (at least for me)

Are you doing OOT bags in hotel rooms? You could do a map in the invitations and then include directions in your OOT bags for when guests arrive at the hotel!

I used both.  The top had the map and then I wrote out the directions to the wedding site and to the hotel down below.

I think a map is cuter. Directions feel more unecessary now that everyone has GPS/smartphones.

I’m working on the same thing – I created a map but realized it really wasn’t that helpful for people that weren’t familiar with the area so I decided to do directions instead.

I found a seller on Etsy who originally was going to charge me $3 for the map design.  She had it done immediately so I paid her $10.  She emailed me the file in the format I wanted and then I printed 2 per page and cut them.  lilacsandlace was the Esty seller.  I know people say it’s easy to make the map, but I couldn’t figure it out and figured it was easily worth $10.
