When you open a new document choose Letter for the size, this should make your page 8.5x11. If you click on the square rectangle tool then click your page, instead of holding down the cursor and drawing a rectangle, just click and it will ask you for the size of your box - enter your size 8.5x3.5 and then copy that two more times. There is also an Align feature that I am in love with, you can get them all perfectly aligned and evenly spaced.
Hi ekpell - if you have the layout in Illustrator but just need help getting it setup to print 3 per page, don'e hesitate to contact me. That's a pretty quick thing to do and I'd be happy to do that for you!

Help! I'm trying to layout my save the dates in illustrator. I'm using the free trial version. The size of them is 8.5 wide and 3.5 inches tall. I'm trying to fit 3 of them onto an 8.5x11 sheet of cardstock, and I can't get it to layout properly. Any advice on this?
