I really like what you did with the pocketfold! I am a bit iffy on the outside design where the ribbon is.
Sorry to go off on a tangent here but I love the inside so much so if it is OK, can I ask you a few questions?
What is the dimension of your pocketfold and also the inner actual invitation? I want to do a little contrasting lining like that as well in ours and we are first trying to decide on a size. :) TIA!
Thanks amber! I know I was so freaking about, well, really nothing!
JCM-I'll take another pic tomorrow pm of the bellyband- it basically goes outside the pocketfolder kind of like a "seal" thingie- which the paper is actually going to be covering up an actual seal that I am writing (printing on sticky labels in my font) the names of the invited parties on... I'll take a pic of that too when I get to it. I thought it looked a little weird with the ribbon with the paper on it, but it actually came out better than I expected, and LMAO my FMIL was like WOW that is so crafty (and the whole time I'm thinking geezzzz I combined a few ideas from other people). Anyway, The final will have the sanddollar in a tan/pink sandy raised embossing--- not shiny though, this really cool distressed kind I found at the hobby store a while back and haven't had a reason to use yet!
I might use a wider white grosgrain ribbon instead of the pink--- my camera really exaggerates it, but I think the pinks might be too different to actually pull it off...
The pocket folder is the 5x7 from cardsandpockets.com in khaki canvas textured paper.
The pink is 4.75x6.75 cut from flat cardstock (boo stardream lol) with my trusty cutterbee!
The invitation layer (printed invite) is 4x6 thermography from mygatsby.com (order the 5x7 and you pick the size of the paper when customizing),
Using a 4x6, I could have more pink 1/2" on all sides versus the 1/8 suggested by most companies (they say use 4.5x6.5 invite layer) giving more than just a little pop (b/c I love pink but FH is over it right now).
Inserts were plain cardstock #120lb cover stock bought in a pack of 250 for like $10 on sale at office max a year ago! I cut the paper in strips of 3.5 longwise (giving 3 per page) and then ran them through the printer BEFORE cutting the length down (PITA, but the printer ate anything shorter than the 8 inches!). I just made sure to line up the margins and used the paper sizing for "japanese envelope 90mm" which is 3.54" wide so it worked for printing those.
I second the ribbon on the outside looks a little "off" from the rest of the colors. The rest looks great and I like the sand dollar outside seal. Try the white ribbon and I think you're good to go.

Hey bees. No mo drama here! ;) I was just freaking out b/c this is the first thing people see about the wedding and I have 1 week less than I thought I did to get it done, but I've laid out a timeline (i.e. work like CRAZY on Wed, thur and fri pm and hope the envelopes make it in time!
So I went over to FMIL's house today to show her the invites (and see pics of a wedding she crashed over the weekend but that's another story all together!) We put together a few ideas and mockups of what I've got, and came out with a favorite. So now ladies- you opinion! (the one that matters most!! lol!).
