    Hi all,

So, here is my invitation so far.  I can't decide if I like it right justified, or if I should center it, what do you all vote for?  And are there any opinions on it?  I will be doing a pocketfold invitation and this will have a red matting behind it on possibly a champagne colored pocketfold.

    Right justified:

    Centered:

     Thanks everyone!!

I like the Right justified.  It just looks "right" to me.  Great job on the design!

I also like the right justifed version..... but can I make a tiny suggestion?  I would suggest that you either do away with "at" and "on" (the two lone words on individual lines at the moment) or move them down to the next line (respectively).  I believe etiquette says that these words are not necessary in an invitation, but if you do include them I think they are supposed to be on the same line as what you're referencing.  Since it is right justified, it looks a little peculiar to me that these words are all by their lonesome, especially since they aren't meant to emphasize anything.

I usually lay things out like this:

Invite you to share in a celebration of love

    as they exchange marriage vows

Saturday, the sixth of September  (there should be a comma after Saturday)

    Two thousand eight

    Four o'clock in the afternoon

Also, and this is just the OCD designer in me (I design wedding invites all day long as my job!), but "two thousand and eight" should actually be "two thousand eight" -- no "and."  This is actually a common mistake on invitations, but including the "and" is grammatically incorrect.

Hope you don't mind my two cents :-)   I just know how we all want everything to be perfect!  The design is lovely!

cupcake, I meant to take out the at and on, they never seemed right to me, so I'm glad you justified that!  thanks for the other tips!
