You could do a white envelope, and then have a design inside the envelope w/ navy and yellow. Does that make sense?
no i think white or yellow would look nice. though i would pick yellow. i love seeing colored envoples in the mail.
I personally love the idea of navy blue invites with a bright yellow envelope. It just looks so happy and vibrant! But your wedding date is early fall so yellow might scream too much like a spring or summer wedding. I like the idea of a white envelope with a colored liner (either navy blue or yellow).
I like the yellow envelop idea. Just make sure they're lined if you have navy invites b/c if it shows thru at all your yellow will look dingy.
Personally - I like the formality and crispness of a white envelope for a wedding invite. But I would totally vote for white outer envelope, navy blue invites, and a bright yellow RSVP envelope. We did something similar with ours (red RSVP envelopes) and it was so much fun seeing the little red envelopes show back up in the mailbox!

I've decided my colors are going to be navy blue and bright yellow. I want my invitations to be panel invites, with navy blue and then the printed part will be on white and attached to the panel card. I'm going to add a little yellow ribbon or something at the top. Here's my issue. I can't decide what color envelope to use. I am not planning on using an inner envelope. Ultimately I would love to use navy blue, but I am having a hard time finding them for a reasonable price. I have found both white and yellow envelopes in my price range. So here's the question. Do you think it would look bad to have a navy blue invite, with a bright yellow envelope? Or would you stick with white? Or should I keep looking for navy blue? I have a long while to worry about it, but I'm trying to get some ideas while I can so I can shop around for the best prices. Thanks. I really would like to hear some opinions.
