Has anyone else been so overwhelmed by invites that they don’t know where to start?
That is me.. I have NO clue what I want. We are having a SC wedding in Myrtle Beach with Tiffany Blue and white colors. We want it to be elegant, beachy (without shells on it), with a little twist of something different.
I don’t even know what we need to put into the invitations!!! Travel info, place info, date, time etc… so overwhelming I shut down!
Any ideas where to start??? Where did you get your invites?
Thanks for the help

I am starting to look at invitations to get an idea of what I want and where to order from and I feel the same, totally overwhelmed. We are having a small, out of town, wedding. I want to include hotel info so guests know how to book rooms using the block/group rate and I also somehow need to let guests know our ceremony is at 1:30 but dinner isn’t until 6 AND give them ideas on what they can do in the inbetween time. This is going to be the one thing that I keep putting off, I just know it.

I ordered mine through zazzle, I was able to get 100 invites, 100 RSVP cards, customized stamps (for wedding invites and RSVP’s) and customized return (pre-addressed) stamps for $165! Zazzle has so many coupons that you can find by using google. I ended up getting 70% off and free shipping!

etsy is a fun place to look 🙂

Mine are from Momental Designs – Kristy is designing exactly what I want and it’s great fun working with her! They can be costly but they’re hand painted and truely unique. I can’t wait to get them!

@blue_eyed_bride: zazzle looks cool! and even cheaper than americanwedding.com, where we have been looking

Don’t be too overwhelmed by what information to include, if you want to minimize stress over the invitation wording, just look up “invitation wording” and use a standard wording!
As far as the information about directions, guest accomodations, etc. – I am planning on printing out small cards directing guests to our website, where I listed all of that information. I thought it was wasteful to include a huge sheet of paper. But our guest list average age is ~40 and most of our guests are internet savvy. The older relatives can call us if they can’t make it to the website 🙂
