So my stationer sent a sample of our invite to us and while I LOVE it, the pink used is much more pink than originally planned. She is totally awesome and offered to reprint them but this will delay us sending them out which I really do not want to do! The pink on the invite itself is not that bad but when you see the envelopes/belly band it looks MUCH brighter. We were going for a more subtle look. So, advice? Is it worth reprinting or am I the only one who is going to care on this?

I’d say you need to figure out your priority: is the color a priority? or sending them out asap?

julesbeeb: if your date on here is correct- it seems like you have plenty of time to send them out. How long would it takes to reprint?

I would say if it is bothering you and you have enough time to still send them out after they get reprinted … Get them reprinted. An invitation is the first thing your guest are going to see for your wedding. If the pink is not what you were expecting and is way to outrageous or extreme for your liking … Fix it, if you have time to do so.

MrsBeck: We are sending our invites May 1 because it is a DW and are hotel blocks release on June 1. The printer also has a backlog so we would probably not send until after May 1 at this point.

julesbeeb: Sorry if I get this wrong, but you are sending invitiations out on May 1, which will take around 3-5 days to get to everyone, and they need to pay the deposit for a DW within three weeks after getting the invite? Yikes! That is a close timeline. I would be sending those puppies out this weekend! No one is going to remember the exact shade of pink used.

MissLibra: ya, I guess it’s not truly a DW but it is a pretty big tourist spot (Sonoma) and we did send save the dates plus multiple emails to our family.
