Usually on the bottom of the invitation it says “Reception to follow”. But my reception is not right after the ceremony, so I’m not sure what to write on the bottom of the invitation. My ceremony is at 12:30 and we’d like to have cocktails at 5:30 with dinner and dancing to follow. I will be having seperate reception cards along with my invites. On those reception cards I will write the time, venue and address. So, what do I write on the bottom of the invitation?

@GatwickGal: same issue with me.
“Recepton to follow” just means there is a party afterwards.
on your enclusure card. then just put the exact time.
also on our church programs we have the time put there also.

I did the same thing. I put ‘dinner and dancing to follow’, and then put a seperate card with the information.

Only put ceremony info on your invite. All other info, like your reception time and location, goes on the other enclosures.
