How many suites do you need made? I'm working with Kseniya from Thomas-Printers.com and I'm doing 125 complete suites of invites (on double-thick stock), reception cards, response card/envelope, and direction cards, plus 150 letterpressed outer envelopes and 150 blank inner envelopes. All that is only costing around $1400 (which I know is still a lot to spend on invitations, but to have the ENTIRE thing letterpressed, I think it's quite a good deal). Pop her an email and tell her Lisa Gadaleta sent ya. I'm sure she will be able to work with your budget and come up with something that works for you.
For $571 (plus free shipping)
www.glidewellpress.com will do 75 invites with response and reception card, plus return addressed outer envelope and addressed inner envelope - all letterpress on Cranes lettra (invites and envelopes) with custom ink colors.
I am thinking of using them - haven't yet decided if I am going to splurge on more expensive invitations or not.
Contact Kristin of Twin Ravens Press on Etsy! She's amazing to work with, her prices are reasonable and she's so talented! Let her know I referred you :) She does incredible letterpress work! Before her, I was going to go the plain jane invite route! She made all my letterpress dreams come true :)
Thanks for chiming in, ladies!
I feel so overwhelmed with where I am in the wedding plans -- major vendors, done; little deets all still need my attention -- so this is a HUGE help.

Hello hive!
I'm starting the arduous task of paper products for Mr. MagPie and my August wedding. I've done some DIY so far, but know homemade invites won't be the quality I've dreamed of.
I haven't given up on getting (at least somewhat) letterpress invites, and have looked on Etsy a bit for vendors. Does anyone have recommendations of vendors who will create a letterpress invitation suite (invite, response card, reception card and envelopes) for around $500? I'm also willing to have just the invitation letterpress, and the other pieces offset printed.
Really would appreciate any guidance -- thanks!
