I just used the wedding ring stamp for my invites and the polar bear stamp for my postcard rsvp's.
we had black and white striped stamps, for our balck and white stripe theme.
I bought stamps off zazzles. I needed 2 stamps though so the other stamp was the old wedding hearts stamp.
I don't think you have to go all out on the stamps. Custom stamps are pretty expensive and hunting down vintage stamps can be a pain in the butt. Usually the post office has many different types of stamps to choose from. You could also look at the USPS website for more options: http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TopCategoriesDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10152
I've been wondering this too. I think it would be cool to have a custom stamp with our picture, but fiance thinks it's weird. So I'm not sure.
We used the King/Queen of hearts, which are lovely! We put Kings on his guests and Queens on my guests so we'd have a hint when the RSVP card came back. For the invites, I didn't feel like using the wedding cake, so I bought the pastel dragonfly.
@archibee: I love those stamps and used them for our STDs. :) But for our RSVP postcards (which we got partially to save money on stamps!) the only option is that ugly blue polar bear. :-/
Our save-the-dates had a save-the date stamp from Zazzle. I think for the invites though I am just going to use the USPS wedding cake stamp.
I love the King and Queen of Hearts. They're darling. We'll do those if they're still around or vintage.
I'd love to spend money on stamps from Zazzle, but people toss the envelopes, so I just can't justify it. In my dream world though....
My FH and I are using zazzel for our save-the-dates!
Does anyone know where to get vintage stamps? good wedding ones..

What kinds of stamps have you ladies used for your wedding invites? I've seen some really cool vintage stamps collections going onto people's envelopes... am I underdoing it if I only use one? ;)
