Most of them look like they are dover clipart (you can find at your local bookstore). You can search dover flower on amazon., to see what I am talking bout, but to find the exact flower you are looking for you would have to go look at them.
These are called "botanical illustrations". They did a lot of them like a hundred years ago for illustrated guides, but the illustrations were so nice that many people tore out the pages and framed them. I recall there was one artist who is most famous for these, but I don't remember his name. google botanical illustration and you'll find ton of images!
Thank you guys so much! This really gives me a lot more to work with!

I'm totally in love with this one style of invitations and I'm searching high and low on istockphoto and other sites for good images that look like this... does this style have a name?
Many examples in this great artist's gallery: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thingsarebetterwithaparrott/sets/72157601935953477/
I'm thinking about gocco'ing them like this too but I just can't find really nice images. I've found a few poppies on istock but it's not really the right image for my wedding. Keywords I've tried using are: sketching, engraving, drawing, letterpress (it's an option to search for on istock! heh).
Does this type of illustration have a name?
