@MichiganGirl24:  “together with their families” implies that the bride, groom, and both sets of parents are contributing to wedding costs and all are hosting.

you don’t have to put the names of all the parents.  together with our families is enough.

here are a few options:

at their marriage

@MichiganGirl24:  if you put together with parents or families i don’t think anyone will be confused.

my father passed away a few years ago.  my mother is hosting my wedding. i don’t think anyone on FI’s side will question the wording of my invitation.  only his immediate family know my father is deceased.

  my invitation says:

ms. {mother’s name}

invites you to share in the celebration

of the marriage of her daughter

{myname}

to

{grooms name}
