I’m looking for help on invitation wording. We are having a private/intimate wedding ceremony with just immediate family out of province (destination wedding?), and having an at home reception.
I have somewhat of a template made for an invitation, but I have a couple issues with it.
First of all, I don’t want it to sound in a way that makes anyone feel left out (in case someone was wondering why there was no invites to the destination wedding), so I’m wondering if I should include the date and location of the intimate wedding ceremony in the first paragraph (maybe this might confuse people to think they’re invited – or no?).
And also, my biggest issue is that the tenses in the two paragraphs bother me because they are not the same. How can I refrain from having one in third person and one in first person?
Also, any other suggestions are greatly accepted!!
