We have a quote at the top or our invites:

“Now join your hands, and with your hands your hearts.” –William Shakespeare

I thought it was particularly appropriate for us, beause (a) The Guy is super into Shakespeare and we go to the Stratford Festival (a local Shakespeare theatre company) every year (and that is actually where the guy proposed), and (b) I liked that it mentioned joining hands, as this is something that is customarily part of the wedding ceremony.

ETA: I originally found this by googling something as simple as “love quotes.” There are tons of them out there!

I love quotes and the fact that you are including one! I didn’t get creative enough to do so for invitations but will try to put them in some other element. Here are 2 that i love:

This one is pretty popular:

This day I will marry my friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love
Anonymous

This is one of my favs, but I’m a big kid who loves Dr. Seuss:

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” –Dr. Seuss

I have always loved this one:

“This day I will marry my best friend,
the one I laugh with, live for, Love”

“Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.”

” I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.”

“Soulmates~two halves of the same soul joining together in life’s journey.”

“For I have found the one whom my soul loves.”

“There are three things that last: faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love.”

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”
