I am in the process of making our own wedding invitations and have been reading so many different versions of “ïnvite wording” I can’t think anyore.
Please let me know what you think about what I have come up with so far and any suggestions to make it better. We are going for a fairly simple or casual approach and don’t want it too formal.

- Wedding: September 2013 - Franklin Plaza
@Taubs: I think that is good for less formal invitation wording.
We went for the more formal cookie cutter approach:
The honour of your presence
is requested at the marriage of
David & Ashley
on the 29th of September
two thousand and thirteen
at the Franklin Square Inn
Reception to follow
